Delete your SigBench account & data

This page explains how to request deletion of your SigBench account and the data associated with it. SigBench is a crowdsourced mobile-network benchmarking app.

How to request deletion

Email support@sigbench.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.

If you use the app without an account, you can remove all local data at any time by simply uninstalling the app — no account data is held for you.

We verify the request comes from the account owner and process it within 30 days. You’ll get an email confirmation once it’s done.

What gets deleted

Your account and login email address
The link between your account and your device(s)
Your identifiable measurements (signal, speed, and location samples tied to your device)

What may be kept

Aggregated, anonymised statistics already incorporated into coverage maps and operator benchmarks. These contain no name, email, phone number, or device identifier and cannot be traced back to you, so they are retained.
Records we are required to keep for legal or security reasons, which are deleted once that obligation ends.

Delete only some of your data

You can also ask us to delete specific data (for example, a date range of measurements) without closing your account. Email support@sigbench.com with the details.
