What the signal check shows

RSRP — strength

Reference Signal Received Power: how strong the serving LTE/5G cell is where you stand. Higher (closer to 0 dBm) is stronger.

RSRQ — quality

Reference Signal Received Quality: whether that strength is usable, or drowned by interference and load from neighbouring cells.

SINR — usable data

Signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio: a practical predictor of whether the link can hold a decent data rate.

How to check your RF signal

1. Install the free app and open it. 2. Tap Start to begin logging. 3. Open the Live tab to read RSRP/RSRQ/SINR, band and serving cell in real time — the Map colours your route by signal strength so you can see dead spots. It works without GPS and collects no personal data.

How do I check my RF signal?

Install SigBench, start logging, and open the Live tab — it shows your current LTE/5G RF signal (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR), serving cell, band and operator, and maps signal strength as you move.

What is a good RSRP value?

Roughly: above −90 dBm is strong, −90 to −105 dBm is fair, below −110 dBm is weak. Check RSRQ and SINR to see if the signal is actually usable.

Can I check signal without GPS?

Yes — SigBench reads the radio directly and uses battery-friendly positioning, so GPS isn't required.
